Grade 8 Letters
On Wednesday this past week, we received letters we wrote to ourselves in grade 8 for us to answer in grade 12. I will try my best to answer questions I’ve posted to myself and not status or anything I listed back then.
Homelife - Me and my brother, we fight a lot
A) hahaha this is probably the thing that still hasn’t changed. Me and my brother still fight a lot, and I doubt anything will change about that, unless we grow up or something but yeah that’s just normal sibling stuff right?
Current fashion - Nike
A) yeah no this hasn’t changed at all either, although I must say adidas has taken over a bit.
Regrets - Not making my relationship last longer
A) Okay Ethan, you don’t even know what relationships were or what they were supposed to mean. All you cared about was the status symbol, I mean, how can you call it a relationship when you didn’t even talk to each other in person. Trust me, I don’t even consider that a relationship and you shouldn’t either. You should be thankful you and her are still friends, because you will encounter something in the future that will make you very thankful of this situation.
Is Grade 5 still your best year?
A) Well after looking at it for a while now, I don’t think we can compare what happened in grade 5 to what happens in high school. Opinions are different, trends change, and the world around us changes as well. But to answer your question Ethan, yes, grade 5 is still your best year.
Did your brother make it into summit?
A) No, Connor did not make it into summit, however, maybe it was for the best that he didn’t. Being in mainstream has opened his eyes and given him more opportunities than if he wasn’t. So I believe that it’s good that he didn’t make it in.
What decisions did you take in your life?
A) I’ll answer this later when I write a personal letter to myself when I graduate.
How many followers on Instagram do you have? You currently have 25.
A) As of 12:13 AM on January 26, 2019, you currently have 583 followers. Hahaha I’m sure that’s way beyond what you thought you could’ve reached by now in grade 8. Probably beyond your wildest dreams that you’d even surpass 100 followers!
